Sunny Umpleby

Sunny joined B\VAL in 2022 as an intern. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting at the University of Oregon, she joined our team full-time.

She specializes in tax preparation for individuals, small businesses, C-corporations, and estate and gift tax returns. Sunny is known for her attention to detail and dedication to client success.

Originally from China, Sunny moved to the United States in 2016. Before joining B\VAL, she earned a bachelor’s degree, obtained a customs broker license, and gained over 10 years of prior experience in international logistics and transportation.

Outside of work, Sunny enjoys cooking, exploring Oregon’s natural beauty, and traveling with her family.
